Tasty Tuesday: Back in The Groove

It is so nice to be back into our normal routine with grocery shopping and meal planning! It's kind of lame, but cooking dinner is a stress reliever for me. It gives me something (somewhat) mindless to focus on, and the results are definitely something we benefit from. :)

Here are some of the meals we've been eating recently!

The chilly nights here lately call for soup! This Crock Pot Loaded Baked Potato Soup was a hit with even Brian, who proclaims himself "not a soup person." I am slowly changing his mind. :) You also have to love a good Crock Pot meal. So little effort!

Another great Crock Pot meal! This Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Biscuits was a little bit like a deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie (one of my favorites!) I used Pillsbury biscuits to make this dinner even easier.

This is the second time I've made this Baked Penne with Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomatoes. It's one of those meals that causes me to make a huge mess (like get every pan in the kitchen dirty), but it makes two trays of pasta so I can freeze one for later. Which makes the mess worth it.

This is one of my new favorites from Iowa Girl Eats (although I tend to love most of her recipes)! Vegetable Beef and Barley Soup was easy to prepare and packed with flavor. A great way to make sure we're getting our veggies and healthy grains. :)

While trying to jazz up breakfast for dinner, I made these Hash Brown Egg Baskets. A perfect little  package of hash browns, eggs, bacon, and cheese...what's not to like? I served these with easily the best pancakes ever. I may never make them from a box again!

Chicken Rollatini with Spinach alla Parmigiana from Skinny Taste has my gears turning about what else I could use to stuff chicken breasts. This version was delicious and easy...and not to mention healthy! I can definitely get on board with that.

What have you been cooking this week?

My awesome husband has been doing ALL the cooking for the past 12 weeks! Hopefully, I'll be feeling better soon since I'm in the 2nd trimester now. PS. Your food taking skills are pretty impressive. Where'd you learn how to take such good pictures?

Can I please move on in with you and Brian? Those meals look amazing :)
I need to start getting better organized and get my butt in the kitchen.
Question: Do you plan all your meals and then head to the grocery store for one big shop, or do you shop meal by meal??
