Brian's Promotion!
Yesterday, I headed onto post to attend Brian's first Army promotion ceremony. Exactly 18 months after he was commissioned as a second lieutenant on graduation day at West Point, Brian was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant.
I could not be more proud of him and all he does to make himself stand out at work; his commander had nothing but good things to say about him and how he does his job.
His commander also doesn't consider any promotion "official" until it has been sealed with a kiss. A somewhat awkward but cute tradition. :)
