*We relaxed. Brian hung out with Riley.
*We rented Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson. I couldn't tell you if it was any good, though, because I fell asleep around 9 and only saw the beginning and the end. Definitely leading an exciting, blog-worthy life over here, people.
Saturday. . .
*Met up with some lovely friends and their boyfriends at Boordy Vineyards...
...and listened to a Beatles cover-band, the Mahoney Brothers, while sipping on Sangria and Tango Peach wine. Even though I spilled red wine on my white shorts, plenty of fun was had by all!
Sunday. . .
*After church, we headed to the mall for some last-minute vacation shopping and lunch at Bahama Breeze with Brian's mom. I had pan-seared salmon with mango butter sauce and garlic mashed potatoes...yummmmm!
We are now 4 days out from our two-week California/Nevada vacation, aka Adventure Tour 2010! Lots of running around and packing to do...I officially have no idea how to pack for this kind of trip so wish me lots of luck and send along any fabulous packing tips you have! Along with any San Diego and Lake Tahoe suggestions (especially for food!) :)

Hey! For San Diego, I'd definitely be sure to pack cardigans/cover ups because it is cold down there! I was there over Memorial Day, and while it's warm enough during the day, it's still pretty breezy. And night, it's around the low 60's I'd say. I'm going back down this Saturday, and it's going to be 68 during the day.
Pack some easy maxi dresses. And like Miss Sweet Tea said, cardigans for evening. SD can be cooler at night and by the water. Casual shorts, tanks, dresses, sandals...I love summer vacations :) Have fun!!!

You guys are going to have SUCH a great time on your trip!! I am the worlds worst packer so I won't give you any advice as far as that's concerned. If I was going for two weeks I would be packing up my entire house... not a good plan I am assuming ;)

Exciting!!! So pack for sunny summer weather, sundresses, comfy sandals and sunglasses. Golden! Lol and I saw Edge of Darkness this weekend too! Intense.

I go to Lake Tahoe every summer and love it! Are you going to be in North or South Shore? I have some great North Shore suggestions. Let me know if you are in North Shore and I can pass them along. And since I'm from CA, my packing suggestions include (especially since you get cold) always bring a jacket/sweater for night time. And make sure to include shorts and tanks, along with jeans and t-shirts.
PS. You always look too cute in all your pics. I love your style. What are some stores you shop at?

I love Boordy Vineyards!! Especially when they have the chili (which I think is the winter months) but either way, its a great place any time of the year!!
