Blizzard(s) of 2010

So it's Friday, and I could not be happier...there is no snow in the weekend forecast! (A chance of snow for Monday, but hey...at least it's a break.) I came home from New York on Monday to snow on the ground from the first blizzard, and then settled in for the quickly approaching second blizzard!

It snowed through the night Tuesday and all day Wednesday. Riley and I actually braved the storm on Wednesday just to get out of the house for a minute!

I took a couple of videos, and a lot of pictures...I don't think I've ever seen this much snow in my life! (Just between you and me, I kind of hope I never do again.)

My classes were canceled all week, so I spent a lot of time sitting on my butt doing a lot of nothing. I don't really mind being snowed in...it gives you an excuse to not have to do anything! It's also nice to look outside and see the pretty snow, while sipping on a cup of tea and being toasty warm inside. And dreaming of the beach. :) This little break consisted of a lot less schoolwork than it should have, but that is fine by me.

The sun finally came out yesterday, and the snow seems to be quickly melting.

Although, with over three feet on the ground, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see grass until April...

Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day weekend! I don't have any big plans, but I know that I'm going to be sure to remind the people I love how much they mean to me. :)

I should have done video! Kameron had a tough time with her little legs in so much snow and I took a pretty good spill that would have been comical on video...
