'I wish'....I could have worn the gown that
Sandra Bullock wore at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards!
I didn't watch the Golden Globes, but after flipping through some pictures, this dress quickly emerged as my favorite! I've loved Sandra Bullock since Miss Congeniality, and loved her even more after seeing The Blind Side. She just looks amazing in this dress! Plus, it's purple, and I totally dig purple. :)

Funny that we're talking about formal dresses today, because they have been on my mind all week! I need to find and buy one, like, yesterday. 100th Night is at the end of February, and is my second to last ball at WP. (You can see the dresses I wore to Yearling Winter Weekend, 500th Night, and Ring Weekend in my posts here and here.) I tried a couple on today, and kind of fell in love with one...but it's a bit different. It's longer on me than on this model, because I am short. But I think that's a good thing in this case.
What do you think? Bizarre? Or is it not as different as I'm thinking it is and I should rock it with confidence?
Of course, now Brian will read this post and I always like my dresses to be a surprise. So, it'll probably be back to the drawing board. So, where do you guys shop when you need formal dresses? :)

I was a fan of Sandra's dress as well. And I'm so glad she won because I loved the Blidside!!!

Sandra's and Emily's dresses were my fav's! So pretty!!! Love that purple color =)
I really like the one strap dresses!! It seems like they are everywhere now. My sister is wearing one as my matron of honor. Ive looked at Davids Bridal for dresses before and Macys and Lord and Taylors usually have a good selection.
Those purple dresses were amazing and girl, you would so rock that dress!!!! :)
My favorite dress of the night was January Jones. Absolutely gorgeous!

I love the purple gown that SB wore! I thought I was the only one who loved purple! I just bought a purple coat to put a little happy in the LONG winter...
I loved the purple gown itself, but I hated the purple itself. Everyone else seemed to love it though!!
I just found your blog {it seems we have lots of bloggy friends in common!} and I am just loving reading it! My husband graduated from WP in 2006, and reading about 500th night and RW and 100th night are making me a little misty eyed. I met my very best friend while our husbands were both there, and I think those cold gray walls will always have a little piece of my heart.
This sounds so dumb, but enjoy these next few months. In a few years from now, you will both look back at the time and memories yall shared while he was there very fondly :)
And now I sound like a little old lady, hahahaha!
