Signs...

Do you believe in signs?

There have been times, especially when I've had to make a hard decision or am unsure of what step to take next, when I know that God and the heavens have delivered a little message just to let me know that the universe is unfolding exactly as it should.

Sometimes, though, a sign is just something silly...but it still delivers the same assurance.

My boyfriend's room at his mom's house is still decorated the same way he chose for it to be when he was in elementary school. Because he's been away at college for the past 6 years (2 at a 'normal' college, and then 4 at WP) and never really lives there, it's still decked out in airplane wallpaper; the ceiling is painted with clouds.

It's a coincidence that Brian and I share an affinity for airplanes. Maybe flying will be a hobby we share in the future, but regardless, we both have an appreciation for them. What I have trouble believing is just a coincidence is the fact that the airplanes that have been 'flying' around Brian's room since he was a boy have these three letters on them:

LMS. Three letters that just so happen to be the initials of....you guessed it: yours truly! :)

P.S. As far as I can tell (from my Googling), there's no logical explanation for what that series of letters of means in airplane language. But I can tell you (from taking a horrendous statistics class last semester) that the probability of those three letters being my initials are exactly one in 17,576.

LMS Engineering systems is a prototype lab used by Boeing. Basically, they help design its airplanes and wouls use their initials on LMS on their models/prototypes. Even so, still way cool.
