A Christmas Light Adventure

On Christmas Eve Eve, Brian and I decided that we needed to get in the holiday spirit. After some Googling, we found the addresses of some of the best Christmas lights in the area and set off on our adventure.

We went to a couple of houses close to where we live...

...and then went into Baltimore to see Hampden's famous "Miracle on 34th Street." This block has been going all-out for Christmas for 62 years and counting!

All of the houses are decorated in interesting and eccentric ways. One even had a Christmas tree made out of hub caps!

The self-proclaimed "Christmas street" was packed with people looking at the lights!

But, by far, the coolest and most impressive Christmas light display was the one not five minutes from my house, where the lights were synchronized to TSO's Carol of the Bells, as well as about five other Christmas songs. When you pull up to the house, you tune your radio to the station listed on a sign outside and enjoy the show!

At the end of the night, we went to Vaccaro's in Little Italy, which has some amazing authentic Italian desserts.

It was probably one of my favorite dates we've ever been on. Perfect for the night before the night before Christmas!

Wow! All those houses are SO beautiful. We ride around and look at lights usually a few days after Christmas! Hopefully I'll see some as impressive as that!
