Yay! This is my blog's 100th post! I started Dreams Take Flight on a slow day (one of very few, actually) at my PR internship this past March, and I was really determined to stick with it. I'm so excited that I actually have. I know that I already love looking back at different pictures and events and reading what I had to say about them at the time. It's like having a photo album and a journal in one!

I have also had so much fun reading other blogs and getting to know you all! Brian checks my blog from time to time (mostly when he is bored) and likes reading your comments (especially the ones that praise his awesomeness... then, I usually have to deflate his ego a bit and bring him back down to reality). The other day he looked at my followers and said, "You should feel humbled that 136 people actually want to read what you have to say!" He's so right! And I am!

For those of you who haven't been around for all 100, here are a couple of highlights and some of my favorite posts from the past 9 months!

Earring Holders- I'm actually just including this because it's a cute, last-minute gift idea for the holidays, and I know I have been searching for some of those myself! :) 

Our one year dating anniversary- Brian and I had dinner on the water and went to a carnival!

My insane 4th of July- Brian forgot his passport, and craziness ensued. We did get to see fireworks on the 3rd, though!

Our European Vacation- Brian trained in the UK for a month this summer, and when he was done, I got to go over and vacation there with him! We toured around London and Paris for a week, and it was phenomenal! 

2nd Annual Phi Mu Beach Trip- One of the highlights of my summer was this trip to Ocean City with my sorority sisters. I don't get enough time with my friends now that school has started!

2009 Book List- I used to do this in a notebook, but keeping it on my blog is so much easier! I don't get to read for leisure as much as I'd like, but I still like keeping track of the books I've read.

Ring Weekend- I like getting dressed up! Oh yeah, and Brian got a pretty ring, too. :)

My Very First Flight Lesson!- If you didn't already know from my blog title or the other ranting I've done on the topic, I love airplanes! The opportunity to take my first flight lesson was definitely a highlight of this year!

Q&A (Part I, II, and III)- I had a lot of fun answering everyone's questions, and I think those posts show a lot more about me than I could have written about otherwise.

Favorite Children's Books- I loved looking back on my favorites, and hearing about everyone else's, too! 

Life Lessons- I wrote this post in the spirit of admitting I'm not perfect. I fill my blog with happiness, but there are times I fall short of what I want to be. I love the list of life lessons, too.

Our holiday trip to NYC- Okay, so that one just happened, but it was definitely a highlight!

Whew, I got carried away...that was a lot. Here's to 100 more!
