Sunday in the Country!

Yesterday was the concert I had been looking forward to all summer... Sunday in the Country! One of the local radio stations here, 93.1 WPOC, puts on this all-day country music festival every year, but yesterday was my first one! After going, though, it hopefully won't be my last. It definitely lived up to my expectations!

A bunch of us met up and got to Merriweather early to tailgate for a while before we went into the pavilion. Once we got in the gates, we paid way too much for food and drinks even though we had just tailgated and got to see Keith Anderson, Jason Michael Carroll, Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, and Darius Rucker!

I definitely wanted to go to see Zac Brown Band. I loved their song "Chicken Fried" that was popular earlier this year, so I bought their album and it was awesome! I fell in love with their music, which is such a fun mix of country and beachiness, and I jumped at the opportunity to see them in concert. They were so good! I always like it when a band or artist sounds just as good live as they do on their albums. Even though I was only really excited to see Zac Brown Band, all of the other artists definitely surprised me and were really good too, especially Little Big Town!

I was too busy enjoying the concert and calling B to sing to him to get any videos of Zac Brown Band, but here are a couple of Little Big Town and Darius Rucker! Excuse my very poor photography skills...maybe I should invest in an actual video camera. :)
